Preconstruction Planning

3D BIM & Design Coordination
Building Information Modeling (BIM) has been a core knowledge base of IG Steel for over 14 years! We have experienced staff that can facilitate 3D BIM projects to more efficiently anticipate design conflicts and erection issues.
Construction/Project
Management
We manage a project at the structural steel level from drawings, to fabrication, shipping, site delivery, manpower, steel erection and job safety and coordinate openly with our General Contractor as well as other trades.
Shipping Logistics
We make sure product is shipped correctly by scheduling the shipments with the carriers directly, tracking their movement to and from the docks, and doing so using various shipping methods like Barge, Steam Boat, Consolidated and even Air Freight when needed, to keep the schedule on time and on track.
Guard/Handrail Fabrication and Installation
Crane Certified Operators
We have several Crane Certified workers who can operate a crane not only for our own material but also for other trades when needed. Safety is our top priority while operating our equipment at all times.

Fast, Accurate and Safe Structural Steel Erection
We take pride in our ability to quickly mobilize to a job site, and perform the necessary erection tasks quickly, accurately with safety being a top priority. Our Iron Workers are highly experienced and able to make things work when presented with tough circumstances. We make it work!
